Prijeten obisk tibetanskih menihov

V okviru Dnevov tibetanske kulture so na povabilo prof. Dragana Potočnika v naše kraje prišli tibetanski menihi. Thupten Sherab, Tashi Sang in Sangay Gyatso, prihajajo iz Gyutro Tanric samostana, ki je prvotno nastal leta 1474 na Tibetu, a se je zaradi kitajske invazije leta 1959 preselil v Dharamsalo v Indijo, kjer stoji še danes in je specializiran za učenje grlenega petja, saj je pri Tibetancih grleno petje namenjeno recitaciji budističnega kanona (svetih tekstov). To izjemno in osupljivo tehniko so gostujoči menihi predstavili v sklopu kulturnih dogodkov, ki so potekali od 12. do 30. junija, na naslovu Selce 4 v občini Lenart. Prav tako so menihi izdelali peščeno Amitabha speech mandalo, posvečeno vem obiskovalcem za dolgo življenje.

During Days of Tibetan Culture in Slovenia, Tibetan monks from the Gyuto Tantric Monastery came to visit the event and to create Amitabha speech mandala, dedicated for long life. The monks Thupten Sherab, Tashi Sang in Sangay Gyatso are coming from the Gyuto Tantric Monastery that is specialized in throat singing. The monastery was originated in 1474 in Tibet but had to move in 1959 in Dharamsala in India, because of Chinese invasion. Throat singing is dedicated to recitals Buddhistic holy texts. This stunning technique was presented in the daily event activities and brought a beautiful Tibetan atmosphere in Slovenian culture.
