Čarovnice delajo točo

Slovenka ljudska pravljica o tem kako nastane toča.

(Slovenian above | English below)

One day there was a great storm in a place named Black. A servant has long been on the field and he saw a woman in black jump out of the cloud, circling around the house, and rose again into the cloud. The servant hid behind the bush and watched what was about to happen.

Then the other unknown woman came to the field, took off her closed, and spread black balm all over the body, and then she said: »Zig above bushes, Zag over the rocks!« The balm she hid in the bush and disappeared into the cloud, from which it began to fall big hail. The servant took the pot with a balm that was left and put it all over his body.

Then he said the words spoken by the witch, only that he did not remember them quite well. So he said: »Zig in the bushes, zag on the rocks.« When he spoke this, he was grabbed by the unknown force that took him in the bushes and thrown him directly on the rocks, so that he was scratched and hit and almost killed, but eventually, the force let him go and he clings onto one branch from a pine tree that apparently saved his life.
